How to Play Guitar With Authority - An awesome, 7.5k-word article by my friend Max over at I Will Teach You To Play Guitar. If you want to be a good live guitar player, and be successful in a band, this is a must-read!

Guitar Domain - Everything to do with guitar playing! The section on guitar history is really cool - definitely a must-read if you're interested in how the electric guitar came about.

MyGuitarLessons - Looking for a guitar teacher near you? Look no further than this website! Just type in your area and they'll find you a high-quality guitar instructor. It's a great resource for students and teachers alike.

Subreel - If you're looking for music equipment reviews, look no further! Subreel is a great resource.

Primeau Guitar - If you want the best guitar lessons in Austin, check out Chris Primeau!

Start Playing Guitar by reading articles that inform without overwhelming: Guitar selection, buying guides, all about amplifiers, reading TAB and sheet music, chords, care, more... Why wait?

Guitarate - Probably the most fun guitar site I've seen. Songs are graded by "belt", so you work up until you finally get your "Black Belt" in guitar playing!

Ultimate Guitar - This is the number one tab site on the net and it's also got loads of lessons, reviews and articles for you. It's an awesome site, especially if you're into rock!

All Guitar Chords - What it says on the tin, really. An awesome website for reference and learning new chords/scales on guitar.

Guitar Club - Featuring a Tab Vault with over 60,000 tabs, this is definitely worth a look. The website also has a cool section to add your band, if you're in one - which is a good opportunity to get some extra publicity.

Guitar-Chord.org - Learn guitar chords and chord progressions.

Country Guitar Chops - Country Guitar Chops specialises in modern country guitar lessons. Free guitar lesson videos.

Guitar Domination - Dan does a great job with this site. It's full of free lessons and ideas, and you can even grab some free kindle e-books! If you want them you'd better act fast; I'm not sure how long the free offer is on for, but it might not be long!

Eat. Sleep. Guitar. - A cool website with some really nice content on it - the "Mental Musicianship" section is definitely worth checking out.

Guitar Adventures - There are some great reviews and tips on here both for beginner players and more advanced guitarists.

Guitar Chalk Guide to Online Guitar Lessons - A super-useful resource telling you everything you need to know about online guitar lessons - the options available, the prices, and where to find great-quality content.
